Free advice

Osaka Employment Service Center for Foreigners gives job advice and job information to foreign residents and international students. It is on the 16th floor of the Hankyu Grand Building in Umeda, open weekdays 10:00–18:00 (Hello Work Umeda). Check the page before you go, as hours can change.

  1. Ask a public center whether the job fits your residence status.
  2. Register on job sites for foreign residents. See recruiters in Tokyo.
  3. Register with one recruiter that has an Osaka office, such as Robert Walters. Many other English-speaking agencies are based in Tokyo, so ask whether they cover Kansai.
